You can fit it now if you would like but the putty will need to be re-lined/ reformed when your swelling goes down. We include an extra putty pack for that in every order.

The difference between the GumGuardPM® original / Standard and GumGuardPM® UltraSoft is the GumGuardPM® is the thinner one. The Standard GumGuard is still soft and durable and our most popular, but the UltraSoft version is even softer, thinner and lightweight. The original is especially helpful for grinding issues. Customers love both versions! The UltraSoft is especially preferred for people who have just had extractions or procedures and for people who are having sore gum issues.

Yes they work great with abutments! and any kind of implant when the fixture isn’t in place. the post actually holds the GumGuard in better than not having any implants at all.

Can clean along with your preferred denture cleaner. We recommend Dr. B liquid crystals and ultrasonic cleaner. Follow product directions.

Putty liner may be replaced back in denture after cleaning. Can also use a soft toothbrush if needed. Clean putty and clean dentures, put putty liner back in denture, apply adhesive if needed, and wear again!

No, being that the GumGuard® is specially designed for use for people with no teeth, it does not fit over teeth. We’ve tested it, we tried; it truly is only for gums!

GumGuards last for years with proper care cleaning ,and putty re-lining every 3 months at minimum. Grinding and clenching may cause wear and tear sooner than others, the GumGuardPM Standard is recommended instead of the Ultrasoft for people who grind or clench.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on arrival which should not happen as all items are quality checked before shipping. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you are approved, then the return address will be provided.
